LCD High Definition TVs
An LCD (liquid crystal display) television is lit with a fluorescent bulb placed behind two transparent materials housing liquid crystals and a protective shield. LCD TVs have the brightest picture available and do not have the pixel burnout that can be associated with plasma TVs. LCD TVs are very lightweight and portable. They also operate at a cooler temperature, making your electronics area safe. They are not as clear as plasma TVs, nor do they have as fast of a refresh rate; however, they’re great for watching movies and programs with bright, beautiful scenes.
