Anamorphic 2:40 Cinemascope
An anamorphic 240-cinemascope is the best way to get a true movie theater feel in your home theatre. Typically, flat panel TVs show a picture with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Even on a wide screen TV, this often has black bars that run along the sides of the TV.
A front projector that uses 240:1 cinemascope gives you the capability of a movie theatre aspect ratio. You’ll be viewing the whole picture and the show as the director intended you to see it. A media room that uses a 240:1 cinemascope gives you widest presentation and is the closest you can come to having an actual movie theater in your home.
